On Saturday, a special handover took place at the Neuengamme Concentration Camp Memorial: the ring belonging to former Neuengamme concentration camp prisoner Czesław Drozdzyniak was returned to his nephew Michel Drozdzyniak. He was accompanied by his sister and his wife.

A few days ago, the Neuengamme Concentration Camp Memorial received a letter as a gift from the family of Roman Kamieniecki. His grand-daughter Katarzyna Kozłowska presented the letter to Memorial Director Dr. Oliver von Wrochem during the Congress of the Amicale Internationale KZ Neuengamme (AIN).

In the night of 25-26 February 2021, our friend Roman Kamieniecki passed away due to Covid-19. He was most recently the president of the Association of Former Political Prisoners of Neuengamme concentration camp in Poland.
